Models & Visibility
Choose models, star favorites, and hide the ones you don't use.
CodeProso can use any model enabled in your Proso.ai tenant — 25+ across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, Grok, DeepSeek and more.
Picking a model
The model picker sits in the chat toolbar. The choice applies to the current conversation, and you can switch mid-conversation: the next message goes to the new model with the same context.
A rough guide:
- Fast models for renames, small edits and quick questions.
- Frontier models for multi-file refactors, debugging and Agent mode runs.
- Multimodal models when you want to attach a screenshot or diagram.
Favorites and hidden models
Open Settings → Models to manage the list.
- Star a model to pin it to the top of the picker.
- Hide a model to remove it from the picker without affecting anyone else.
- Use the filter box to search by name or provider.
Each model is labelled multimodal, text or fast so you can tell them apart at a glance.
Why a model is missing
If a model you expect isn’t listed, it’s usually one of:
- It isn’t enabled for your tenant or your team — ask your Proso.ai admin.
- You hid it — check the Hidden filter in Settings → Models.
- Your team has reached its budget and the admin restricted access to lower-cost models.
